When I ask my 1st-3rd grade students how the strategies we are learning help them in their classroom, they all tell me it has helped them spell more words correctly, it helps them with decoding words, and they can figure out bigger words than they used to be able to read.

My 1-3rd grade students are learning SO much! Students from each grade level have commented about how they are able to decode bigger words and are able to spell words better. I have noticed a huge difference in the amount of words my first graders can read and/or decode this year compared to previous years before I used Reading Horizons.
