This week, I received an email from our Curriculum Director at the Board of Education stating she had a phone call from the guardian of one of my second grade students. She said the child had grown so much in reading this year and she wanted to give credit to the Title I teacher (me) for working with this child to get her to this point. For her to feel like she wanted to share this with our Curriculum Director (who shared it with me) made my day!
