As a remedial reading teacher using Reading Horizons for approximately six years, I have experienced outstanding success with elementary-age students, as well as adults. I like the no nonsense, systematic and effective approach used by Reading Horizons. In addition, the students enjoy learning phonics and I find it exciting to teach because of the immediate progress the students experience. As one of my co-workers has commented, "I send my students to Ms. McDonald so she can work her magic.” Of course, my "magic" is Reading Horizons.
