Reading Horizons Review: Carol Borghese

I can tell you that I have a student who participated in the RHE program last year and is doing incredibly well in the advanced Reading course this year at Pinkerton. I don't have any data to back it up but she is decoding fluently and making great inferences when reading text on her own. Her writing has also improved. She is doing well as an independent reader this year, decoding multisyllabic words at this point --- a definite improvement over last year when she struggled with one syllable words.
